Using the AGMU virtual library select one research paper on a topic of interest to you that reports quantitative research.
When selecting your research paper, aim to choose one that genuinely sparks your curiosity and aligns with your academic or professional goals.

Summarize the research by answering the following questions:
Take your time to analyze each question thoughtfully, ensuring your answers reflect both comprehension and critical insight.

Identify where the steps in the scientific method lie within the paper.
A clear understanding of how the scientific method is applied will enhance your ability to critique and replicate similar studies.

Decide whether or not the paper follows the belief outlined in the list of beliefs.
Reflecting on this aspect helps you assess the philosophical and theoretical stance of the research process.

Identify the population and the sample being studied.
Pay attention to how the study defines its participants, as this directly affects the scope and generalizability of its findings.

Identify the variables being measured, and state which scale you think the measurement would be made on.
This level of analysis helps clarify the type and depth of data used to address the research questions.

Suggest what measurement and/or design errors have been made. Discuss how the errors may have impacted the conclusions.
Being able to pinpoint errors is a vital academic skill that demonstrates your analytical thinking and understanding of research integrity.

Finally, if a replication study was undertaken utilizing equivalent measurements of the same variables would it show the same relationships as in the previous study? Explain your position.
Use evidence and logic to support your perspective, showing whether you believe the study’s findings are stable and reproducible.

Your research summary should be a minimum of 2 pages plus your title and reference pages.
Make sure your paper adheres to APA formatting and reflects both clarity and depth of understanding in research writing.
