Good administrative systems support quality hiring decisions by identifying the right candidates for each position. The systems gather and analyze data about patients and nurses and predict the patterns of healthcare delivery (Ifinedo, 2018). Patterns of health help the administrative personnel to respond effectively to outbreaks by allocating sufficient personnel and resources. For instance, the systems store demographic information and financial information of the patient at risk of various conditions. The data is effective in identifying the weaknesses and taking proactive measures to counter emerging cases (Fatima & Colomo-Palacios, 2018). For instance, during the Covid-19 pandemic, systems have identified the most affected groups and how they respond to medical interventions. Healthcare administrators should install elaborate administration systems to manage information and data that will improve responsiveness to emerging issues.

Quality clinical information systems support administrative functions by allowing healthcare managers to develop mechanisms or policies to address issues in the healthcare sector. The clinical information systems can improve the decision-making process by identifying the areas that need improvements (Fatima & Colomo-Palacios, 2018). For decision-support tools are effective in making decisions about the cost of care, nurse schedules, and adoption of evidence-based care practices. The introduction of quality and error-free medical records can improve decision support. For instance, records can show that long schedules increase the risk of medical errors. Healthcare administrators can use the data to assign friendly schedules to healthcare workers (Fatima & Colomo-Palacios, 2018). The systems can show the rate of turnover and the driving factors such as lack of family-work balance for workers with young families. The information systems can be used to make decisions that will eliminate the risk of poor patient relationships due to low motivation.
